State Journal: Huntington Businessman Sees Endless Appalachian Opportunities

Patrick Farrell had a choice. As he approached 10 years of service with the U.S. Air Force, the decorated F-15 Strike Eagle rear-seat weapons operator could continue his Air Force career, or he could return to his hometown and try to make a difference in his community.

“There enters a woman, who turns out to be my wife,” said Farrell, 42. “We came home and raised our family so they could go to school with their cousins and we could give back to our community.”
